Fixer · Doer · Figure-Outer
San Francisco-based strategist and consultant. I work best on the problems that don't have an obvious owner — and I love every minute of it.
About
I've spent my career at the intersection of big-picture thinking and ground-level execution — and I'm genuinely comfortable in both places. I can sit in a leadership meeting and help define the strategy, then go home and build the framework that makes it real. That's not a humble brag. It's just how I'm wired.
People call me for the special projects — the ones that are strategically critical but operationally undefined, the initiatives that keep getting punted because they don't quite fit anyone's job description. I don't just tolerate that ambiguity. I'm energized by it. Give me a mess and a mandate and I'll give you a plan, a process, and a finished product.
In my most recent role I had the opportunity to step fully into an operator's seat — not just advising, but owning execution end to end. I loved it. Before that, I helped scale brand strategy at a major tech company and co-founded Hiring Guild, a consultancy built around making hiring more equitable and more efficient. I've also done meaningful civic work: supporting women candidates, leading voter protection efforts, and serving on nonprofit boards where I've had to be strategist, fundraiser, and doer all at once.
The range is the point. I can facilitate your leadership offsite and then stay to clean up the room. I can write the job description, run the hiring process, and onboard the person. I'll synthesize your research findings and sort out your junk drawer. I have, in fact, wrapped someone's Christmas presents.
I'm not looking for a role to fill — I'm looking for a problem worth solving. If you have one, I'd love to talk.
What I do
01
Helping organizations figure out who they are, what they stand for, and how to say it. From positioning frameworks to the actual words on the page.
02
Writing job descriptions, building hiring processes, running searches, onboarding new hires. Through Hiring Guild, I've made this faster and fairer for a lot of teams.
03
The thing that's urgent but undefined. The initiative without an owner. The problem everyone agrees needs solving and nobody has time to solve. That's where I come in.
04
I don't just hand over a deck and leave. I'll build the tracker, run the process, write the recap, and follow up on the action items. Strategy is only as good as what happens next.
